

Mary Ann Rozmus was born February 3, 1953 in Wimpole Park, England to William Phillip Weikert and Joanne Jark. Mary Ann and her parents moved back to the United States and settled in Maitland, Florida. She was a proud graduate of Winter Park High School. Mary Ann continued her education and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida. She was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority while at UF. During her time at the University of Florida, she met the love of her life, William "Bill" Rozmus. Mary Ann was employed for over 25 years as an Accountant with Carolina Casualty. She was very active with the Mavens of Ponte Vedra Beach as well as a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mary Ann enjoyed traveling all over the world, but was especially fond of cruising. She also loved to do crafts such as knitting, crocheting, and diamond painting.
Mary Ann was predeceased in death by her parents, William Phillip Weikert and Joanne Jark and her grandparents John and Mary Weikert and Carl and Betty Jark. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, a beloved husband of 42 years, William "Bill" Rozmus; two children, Michael (Brooke) Rozmus and Cassandra Rozmus, both of Jacksonville, Florida; her brother Robert (Barbara) Weikert of Lake Wales, Florida; her sister, Carolyn Redfearn of Ocala, Florida; as well as many nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Main Sanctuary, 11757 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida with Fr. Briggs Hurley as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either the American Cancer Society or the Children's Home Society of Florida in memory of Mary Ann Rozmus.
