

She is survived by her daughters, Joy (John) Pinkerton and Jenny (Wally) Belgard and
her son, James Lee Spoon, Jr. as well as grandchildren Mackenzie (Michael) Griffis, Joel Belgard and Laura Pinkerton. She also adored her great grandchildren Adalyn, Avery and Samuel Griffis.
June was born on June 27, 1931 in Savannah, GA and lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She attended Landon High School and was a longtime member of Elizabeth Swaim Memorial United Methodist Church where she met her sweet Jim as a teenager. She was a gifted soprano soloist and member of the church choir for many years.
June was a devoted mother to her three children and later worked for twenty two years as the secretary to the District Superintendent of the Jacksonville District United Methodist Church. She resided at Rosecastle at Deerwood for the last several years of her life.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, funeral services will begin at 11:00 am at Hardage- Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, with burial to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. The family invites all guest to come back in to the Chapel following graveside for a reception.
