Michael Joshua DeGracia

Michael Joshua Degracia “Mikey”, 24 years old, passed on January 15th 2016 in Winter Park, FL. Mikey graduated from Orange Park, High School in 2009, attended NY Audio Institute and most recently was attending Concorde Career Institute pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene. He had a passion for creating music and lyrics and was very talented writing songs. He was at his absolute best getting down to the tiny details that most people easily overlook. He also had many accomplishments and joys in his life. He was gifted in athletics and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the wrestling tag-team duo the “Karibbean Kids” with his brother and he excelled in JROTC while at Orange Park High School. Mikey was also an aspiring chef as he enjoyed cooking. Michael is survived by his Mother Elizabeth Martinez, his father Jose A. Degracia, Sr, his step-father Jose A. Martinez, his brother Jose A. Degracia Jr, and his sisters Angelina, Stephanie & Michelle. Michael is best described as a beautiful and loving young man. A son, brother, nephew, grandson and devoted friend remembered for his love of music and caring soul. We will forever miss our Archangel Michael.
