Michael Jeffrey Ford

FORD Michael Jeffrey Ford, 60, passed away Friday, May 3rd, after fighting a lengthy battle with cancer. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville; born December 5, 1952, to the late Willard Harold Ford, Sr. and Betty D. Ford. He is survived by his loving and caring mother, Betty, and older brother, Harold Ford (Reesa) along with 2 nieces, Torrey Ford & Melissa Ford and 1 nephew, Charles Ford, and his Aunt/Godmother, Eugenia White (William). He loved to fix and repair things with his famous phrase of, “make it just like brand new”, used on many occasions. He never said no when asked to give a helping hand. The family will receive friends and visitation at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd on Monday, May 6th from 6 to 8 pm. Burial services will be at 11 am, on Tuesday, May 7th, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL., 32218. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and thanks for the excellent care and services provided by HOSPICE and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Michael’s name be made to Community Hospice of NE Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd, Jax, Fl, 32257, Attn: Community Hospice Foundation.
