Michael Travis Mann

MANN—MSGT. Michael T. Mann, 38, loving son of John and JoAnn Mann crossed his final finish line on September 4, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was a prominent member of the running community in the Tidewater area of Virginia and a member of the USAF marathon team. He is survived by his parents, John & JoAnn Mann of Orange Park, FL ; Brother, Timothy Mann of Jacksonville, FL; Sister, Virginia Renee Berry, Niece and Nephew, Ashlie and Alex Berry, all of Middleburg, FL; Grandparents Joe and Virginia Lavarine of Orange Park, FL and Anna Mann of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his Uncle, Wayne Mann of Jacksonville, FL; Aunt Carol Swayne of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Uncle Joe Lavarine of Port St. Lucie, FL and Aunt Janeen Mann of Hendersonville, NC; Fiancé Susan Hale of Hampton, VA; and his daughter and son, Nicole and Anthony Mann of Waterloo, IA. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Corey – Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. , Jacksonville, FL 32208 with military honors rendered.
