Miriam Deloris Hoffman

Miriam Deloris Hall Hoffman (82), born on February 6, 1934, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016. Miriam graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She was married to Richard (Dick) Hoffman for 61 years until his passing in 2014.

Her large family brought her great joy! She is survived by three children, Connie Hoffman, R. Daryl Hoffman (Donna) and Debbie Reynolds, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three brothers, one sister, and her best friend, Irene Lyle.

Her happiness was found in being active and serving others through her church, First Church of the Nazarene (60+ years), Home and Community Educators (40+ years), Florida Christian Homes, All Saints Nursing Home (20+ years) and many other organizations. She held many positions of leadership.

Miriam was a beautiful lady that loved the Lord, her family, life and people!

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens on Edgewood, 729 Edgewood Ave South, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Interment will be at 2:30 PM at Jax National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd Jacksonville, FL 32218. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Hardage-Giddens on Edgewood (904-388-2711).
