Manouchehr Nadji died peacefully with his family surrounding him in Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville on May 24, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 88. Mr. Nadji is survived by his wife, Bahieh Touloui Nadji, his daughters Elham Nadji Smith, Haleh Nadji, Mitra Nadji Smith, and his grandchildren Jonathon Smith, Nicolas Smith, Matteen Kashef, Sophia Vahdat, Chloe Vahdat and Sydney Vahdat.
Mr. Nadji was born on December 22, 1929 in Kashan, Iran, and lived in Tehran, Iran where he was a successful business man. He immigrated with his family to the United States in the early 1980’s, to flee the religious persecution of the Bahai’s in Iran. He was a business owner and real estate investor.
A funeral is scheduled for 2:00 pm on June 1, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery, located at 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. A memorial service will follow at the Baha’i Community Center of Jacksonville, at 4:30 pm, located at 5034 Greenland Road, Jacksonville, FL 32258.
