Mordecai (Moti) Demri, age 69, passed away on April 18, 2026. Born in Safed, Israel. He was the oldest of 8 children. Son of the late Maurice and Jacquelyn Demri, brother of the late Yair Demri (Z”L). He is survived by his wife Cindy, sons Yanir (Courtney) Demri and Ori (Jordana) Demri, grandchildren Maya, Levi, Naomi, Eden, and Ava. His siblings Chaim (Gila), Sylvia (Moshe), Hana (Meir), Elana (Yosi), Margalit (Shlomi), and Nili.
He was an integral part of the Jewish community and a passionate advocate for the State of Israel. He was involved in many causes and lit up every room he walked into.
He will be honored at a Graveside Service at New Center Memorial Park, 200 E 43rd Street, 43rd and Liberty Streets, Jacksonville, FL 32208, US, on April 21, 2026, at 10:00 am, with a live stream link available at https://youtu.be/4WmbwiGXfxI.
