Morris Cleveland Godfrey, 69, passed away on January 1st, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Blackshear, GA to Grover and Linda Godfrey. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Morris relocated to Jacksonville from Lakeland, Florida in 2001. He was a vibrant man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Godfrey; son, Richard Godfrey, daughters Brenda Godfrey DeGhetto and Sherri Godfrey; brother, Horace Godfrey; sisters, Janice Gladden and Doris Saunders; grandchildren, Cartney White, Mariah Godfrey, Trace Brooks, and Sienna DeGhetto.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 7th, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
