On Monday, April 26, 2021, our precious mother, Muriel May Bonner, age 93, gained her wings and left this earthly realm.

She was born to parents, Marshall and Florence Winger, on May 17, 1927, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She married the late Thomas Mayhew Bonner, Jr., in 1946, and they lived many years in the Greater-Minneapolis area, before relocating to Jacksonville, Florida. Muriel, often called Murf by her family and friends, devoted her life to her family, and raised her children with love and devotion. She is survived by 4 children: Thomas Bonner, lll. (Arlene), of Ormond Beach, Marsha Jacques (Douglas), of St. Cloud, Patrick Bonner (Keri), of Jacksonville, and Sandra Barrett (Fred), of Long Prairie. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Muriel will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:30 AM at First Baptist Church of Oceanway, 212 Sago Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32218. A committal service will follow Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.

Murf was like mother to me for 40 yrs.She is one of the few people,, I highly admire,respect, and love.She is such a wonderful lady, her whole life She was a giver, with a huge heart always. Her family and Tom were her.everything, and her GOD.She loved playing games with the kids and such a great cook.She always gave more than her share to everything she was involved in ,like church and family gatherings Everyone had
Great memories of up at the lake,bon fires making Smores and homemade ice cream which kids had to take turns ,cranking and singing. She radiated so much love to all.She will be so missed.
