Myra Elizabeth Nunn

Myra Elizabeth Nunn, age 59, passed away on October 1, 2017 after a long illness. Myra was a graduate of The Bolles School and Duke University. A member of Ortega United Methodist Church, she was active in her church and in the community. She was active in the Junior League of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Symphony Guild, The American Cancer Society, the Heart Guild of Jacksonville and the Rose Garden Circle of the Garden Club of Jacksonville. Myra was a member of the 1977-1978 Debutante Coterie.

Myra is survived by two wonderful children, Hunter Nunn Rhyne of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Glory Lee Scheel of Jacksonville, Florida; her mother, Gloria Nunn; her brothers, Daniel B. Nunn, Jr., and Andrew S. Nunn; her uncle, Maynard Munn; five nephews, Andrew Nunn, Matthew Nunn, Joshua Nunn, Ross Nunn and Jeff Nunn; and one great-nephew, Luke Andrew Nunn. Myra was predeceased by her father, Daniel B. Nunn, M.D.

A memorial service will be held at the Ortega United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Ortega United Methodist Church. Please offer condolences at www.hardagegiddensoaklawnchapel.com
