I'll never forget Nell opening her house to us Thanksgiving 1978. We were on our way to California with our cat, Felix. Durwood (aka John) teased us about the alligator that was going to get Felix. Nell had an unbelievable spread of food fit for a king. Good times. Rest in peace. . . .

Nell was a very kind and sweet person. I have fond memories of her. She and John were my next-door neighbors in Jacksonville. I was so lucky being a young father to have neighbors like them.

Years later I moved to Colorado and Carla and I had the pleasure of having her visit us here. We have very good memories of John and Paula and Nell and Ellie visiting with us out here. She will be missed very much. Our condolence goes to her family. After so many years she is with her husband John again.
