Nicole Hollis

Nicole was born on January 29, 1982 in Beth Page, New York to parents Eric Kopf and Laurinda Trocan Kopf. She graduated high school from Martin County High School in 2000. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2004. She was a dedicated teacher at River City Science Academy - Mandarin campus for the last 5 years. She touched many lives in her 12 years working in education throughout Jacksonville and Vero Beach, FL. Her legacy will live on through the hearts that she touched.

Nicole's heart was apparent to anyone who met her. Her smile and laugh were contagious and will live on in everyone’s memory. We will get to see Nicole live on through her two young children who she loved the most in life. Nicole and Dusty’s love for each other was one of kind and she will always be his forever.

Nicole is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gertrude Kopf and William Kopf; Aunt, Carolyn Phelan; Nicole leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 14 years, Dustin Dane Hollis; daughter, Olivia Taylor Hollis; son, Brantley Dane Hollis; Mother, Laurinda Trocan Kopf; father, Erik William Kopf; step-mother, Sharon Malara Kopf; brother, Richard William Kopf, two step-sisters, Dacia Philpot Miller and Sierra Nichole Philpot; Maternal Grandparents, Irene Trocan and Richard Trocan; Two Aunts, Debbie Rach and Jen Trocan; Three Uncles, Bobby Phelan, Wayne Trocan, and Lance Trocan; Cousin, Matthew Phelan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Nicole will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Joseph's Main Church, 11757 Old St. Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258. A committal service will occur Wednesday, August 18, 2021 immediately following mass at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 4214 Loretto Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32223.
