Ottis Norn Morgan

Ottis (Hank) Norn Morgan died on February 27, 2017. He was born in Kings Mountain, KY on June 2, 1925 to Leslie Morgan and Dessa Foley Morgan. Mr. Morgan served in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1973.

He is survived by his sister Virginia Walker of Indiana, sons; Mark (Judy) Morgan, Paul (Wanda) Morgan, daughters; Rosemary Morgan and Barbara (Bernard) Wortman of Jacksonville, FL; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, many loving family and friends, and his loyal best four legged friend of 17 years, Cookie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary, 2 brothers; Les Morgan and Jimmy Hendricks, son; Ottis Jr., daughter; Rebecca, and his grandson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any military charity of your choice, such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Support Homeless Veterans, Pets for Vets, etc., in honor of LCDR O.N. Morgan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 25 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
