Our mom was a native of Florida and devoted herself to helping others on a daily basis. She was
one to never meet a stranger and if you were a veteran, current military, or a first responder she
made sure to show you her appreciation for the hard work you do/did. Mrs. Patsy lived her life
with her faith, family, and FASHION. She was known as the hat lady to most and for good
reason. No matter where she went, she was very stylish and commanded the room. Her heart was
as big as the world, if not bigger. Her fiery red hair, beautiful hazel eyes, and bubbly personality
made her truly one of a kind. She was a member of Gardenview Baptist and a big supporter of
Breast cancer Awareness as well as the Lupus Foundation of America.
Her entire world revolved around her faith, children and grandchildren, and thrift stores. Our
mother was a different kind of story and the light that surrounded her daily will now shine above
us all. We know without a doubt that she had several loved ones waiting for her with arms wide
open, welcoming her home, and we know the arms she ran to first were God’s.We celebrate her
life with love and comfort, knowing it is a truly great loss of such a beautiful soul. You are home
now Mama and it’s time for you to be with the ones you have loved and missed for so long. We
will take it from here.
