Patricia Elaine Ecker, affectionately known as “Trish,” passed away at age 59 at Baptist South Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida on February 16, 2022. Trish was born in Ft. Hood, Texas on November 17, 1962. Trish proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years as a Chief Corpsman, before retiring.
Trish is survived by her husband of 35 years, William “Bill,” daughter Krista, and son Brandon, of Jacksonville, FL., and a large extended family throughout the U.S.A.
Trish was a natural caregiver, the team mom of everything, fostering a sense of community in every arena of her family’s lives, whether work, children’s activities, or with their numerous friends.
Visitation and a light reception for Trish will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2 – 4pm at the Oaklawn Chapel Legacy Lodge, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida, 32207. A private family burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage contributions to the Mandarin Food Bank at St. Joseph’s.
