Patricia A. Escajeda

Patricia Ann Sams Escajeda, 70, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. Formerly of Pensacola, Florida where for a number of years she worked as a secretary for Martines Club and Restaurant. After a tour of duty in Spain, she relocated to Jacksonville where she later formed her own small trucking business. Patricia was born in Johnson City, Tennessee and graduated from Happy Valley High School. She was the daughter of Aaron and Ruth Sams, both deceased. She was a cheerleader and very popular in school. She loved to read and traveled extensively.

Patricia is survived by son Ruben Escajeda, Jr. her brothers: James W. Sams (Annette) of Pensacola FL., Gerald Neal Sams (Sharon) of Smyrna, GA., Michael Meredith Sams (Mary Ellen) of Pensacola, FL., Carroll W. Sams (Brenda) of Greenwood, SC., and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends for a visitation from 4-6 pm, followed by funeral service at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 S.
