She was born July 3, 1941, in Slickville, PA, to the late Joe Julius and Catherine Louise Demas. She was a 1959 graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Savannah, GA, and attended Armstrong Junior College. She married William D. Fulmer on February 23, 1961, in Savannah, GA. In 1973 Patty and her husband Bill brought their family to Jacksonville where they remained until their passing. In her early career, Patty worked in the banking industry and ended her career with positions in accounting and human resources with Kinco Windows, Jacksonville, FL, until she retired in 2006. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved living near the water where she enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time at the beach. Patty and her husband were members of the Jacksonville Outboard Club where they made many lifelong and special friends. She enjoyed Saturday morning garage sales immensely. She loved tending to her flowers and garden. She was a dedicated wife, an amazing mother and nana, who loved her family deeply.
She was a strong, resilient, independent, vivacious, funny, beautiful person who made everyone better for knowing her. She was a devout Catholic and steadfast in her faith, a gift she shared with her children and grandchildren. It is through that gift that her family will find the strength to honor her character and grace as they navigate the grief of her passing.
