Patricia Albea Womack

Pat was born to Frank Albea and Annie Lou Boaz on August 3, 1927, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a majorette for the Landon High School band and attended the University of Georgia. She later met George, the love of her life, and they were married for 42 years. Pat was a member of Southside United Methodist Church. She had a "passion for fashion" and enjoyed modeling. She was generous and fun-loving. Her friends and family brought her great joy.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Denise W. Foster (Gary); two grandchildren, Ivy F. Dix (Chris) and Gary Glen Foster, Jr. (Ashley); and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Cooper Dix.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 20, at 11:00 am in Oaklawn Cemetery at the mausoleum, 4801 San Jose Blvd., with the Reverend Bruce Jones of Southside United Methodist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Christian Activity Center at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 6133 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32217 or Southside United Methodist Church, 3120 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
