It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Jeanne Yeoman, who left us peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 84 after living a life full of joy and love. Born in New York City, New York, on November 7, 1941, Pat was the cherished daughter of Walter and Dorothy Wells. Throughout her life, she was a devoted daughter, loving sister, beloved wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother.
Pat met the love of her life, Michael Yeoman, during their time at Tenafly High School. Following their graduation, Pat and Michael married in 1960 and shared an incredible 64 years of marriage filled with love and adventure. As a dedicated Military Spouse, Pat supported her husband and their country, relocating numerous times during Michael's service in the US Navy before finally settling in Jacksonville, Florida.
Pat had a zest for life and found joy in various hobbies, including cake decorating, crocheting, and playing games. She was an active member of the Red Hat Ladies and Bunco groups, where she formed lasting friendships. Pat was a wonderful housewife and loving mother for years. Once her children were all in school, Pat began working outside the home, starting a career with Kindercare, where she cared for infants with the same love and dedication she showed her own children. She later worked as a receptionist for Harte Hanks and fully retired in 2006.
Pat is preceded in death by loving husband, Michael Yeoman; her parents, Walter and Dorothy Wells; and her sisters, Kathy Mitchell and Carol Toll. She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Deborah Sitterson (Woody Sitterson) and Lisa Register (Randy Register); her sons, Michael G. Yeoman (Susan Yeoman) and Paul Yeoman (Kathryn Yeoman); as well as 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. A service and celebration of Pat's life will take place on January 8th at 11:00 am at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 10472 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl , officiated by Father Steven Stillmunks. Following the service, a procession to Jacksonville National Cemetery will be held for the burial at 1:30 pm.
We would like to thank all the employees at The Gables/Harbor Chase of Jacksonville for the loving, compassionate and exceptional care they provided Pat over the last 10 years.
In lieu of flowers, and to honor Pat's memory, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
