Born in Jacksonville, FL on May 23, 1950, he is predeceased by his sister Kathleen David, his mom Kitty Mickler, and his dad Mike Mickler.
Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lois Mickler.
Lovingly remembered by his sons Scott and Jeremy Mickler, daughter in law Heather Mickler, grandson Blake Mickler, and sisters Debbie Hernandez and Kathy Pillmore.
A special thanks to all of his family and friends who were an exceptional part of his life.
Patrick graduated from Bishop Kenny, then served in the US Navy where he found his interest in the electrical profession before attending Pensacola College. Known worldwide for his many design patents, he started his career as a journeyman electrician, working his way up into the design of medical panels, acting as an advisory to the National Electrical Code (NEC), and being involved with electrical safety globally.
Always looking to lend a helping hand to acquaintances and strangers, he enjoyed a life between the water and the mountains, where you could find him golfing, fishing, or boating in his spare time.
Visitation will be held in Jacksonville, FL at Prince of Peace Parish on Wednesday August 3, 2022 at 10AM, with funeral services to follow at 11AM. Reception at the church afterwards
