

Nadine was born in West Point, Tennessee on March 17, 1937 and was a graduate of Wayne County High School. She worked for the Duval County School Board as a Secretary at Lake Forest Elementary School for 22 years. She was very active in her church, volunteered at Brooks Rehabilitation Center and was a Duval County Poll Worker for many years. Nadine was a member of the Northside Garden Club and Northside Boosters.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Nona Hollis; her brothers, Buford, Edwin and Lee Roy; her sisters, AnnaLou Gobbell, Frances Ricketts and her twin sister Josephine Dodd; and an infant son, Richard Lee. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald "Ray" Sims; daughter, Donna Geddings and son-in-law, Thomas Geddings; two granddaughters, Erin Geddings (Brandon) and Katie Geddings (Hunter); and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00am on Saturday, January 23 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with a service following at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery.
