

COOK Mr. Paul Charles Charlie Cook of Jacksonville went home to be with the Lord on May 26th 2012. Charlie as he was affectionately known was a wonderful son, partner, hero and friend to all who knew him. He was employed at Cook Electrical and was a graduate of the University of North Florida. Charlie had a quirky sense of humor, loved to travel, loved open air markets, and loved life. He was an ambassador for Wolfson's Children's Hospital appearing in commercials for them, as he spent much of his youth there. Left to Cherish his memory are his parents Paul and Lynnda Cook of Callahan, his partner Scott Barsin of Jacksonville, and his beloved dogs Zipper and Cajun who he deeply loved, extended family and countless friends. Visitation with the family will be Thursday May 31st, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel 729 South Edgewood Avenue. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11am on June 1st, 2012 at The First Baptist Church of Callahan Florida located at 45090 Green Avenue Callahan, FL 32011 with the Rev. Lynn Haytt officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Charlie's honor to the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center of Jacksonville 425 N.
