Paul Bryan Mordecai

He was born December 2nd 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida; attended Samuel W. Wolfson High School. In 1985, Paul joined the United States Navy and was stationed onboard the USS Saratoga (CV-60)and the US Vandergrift (FFG-48). After Paul's 3 years of active military service, his career included time in Automotive Finance & Insurance, with the Scott McCrae Group, as Finance Manager. Later he was employed by Fairfield & Paradigm Mortgage as a Mortgage Loan Officer.

Paul was known for his big smile, outgoing nature & compassion. He enjoyed running, fishing, working on cars, small engine repairs, landscaping, building computers and spending time with family. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin & friend who loved making those around him happy and was the first to lend a hand to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his birth-mother, Winfred (Paula) O'Sullivan Mordecai; Brother Baby Michael & Nephew, Jared Mordecai Paul was survived by his Father, Larry Kent Mordecai, Sr; Mother, Deborah Wilford Mordecai; Brother Larry Kent Mordecai, Jr.; Twin-brother, David Scott Mordecai and wife Lisa; Brother Mark Russell Mordecai and Wife Monica. Children Kirsten Mordecai & Kayla Mordecai and Grandchildren Aleena, Rayna & Kinsley; Nephews Nicholas, Connor, Dylan, Michael Mordecai, Nieces Hilary, Alisia, Kaitlyn, Mia & Jordan Mordecai Great Nephew Marcus Rogers, great niece, Mila Rodriquez.

Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens Oaklawn Chapel and Cemetery 4801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville Fl. 32207, where a graveside service will be held Saturday Nov.18, 2017 at 1pm, with honors presented by the United States Navy.
