Paula Southworth

Paula Gentry Southworth, 61, passed away March 23, 2011 after a 3 month illness. Paula is predeceased by her daughter Becky and mother Doris Bauer. She is survived by her husband Larry, her son Wesley, daughter-in-law Chris and grandsons Hunter and Matthew. Paula was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Paula loved so many and adored all of her friends. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with loved ones. She loved to laugh until she cried and always was there to help in any way she could. She was a graduate of Auburn University and a proud sister of Alpha Omicron Pi. For 24 years, she maintained the daily operations of the family business and involved herself in the community. Paula was awarded the Senior Volunteer of the Year at Mill Creek Elementary. She was a member of Lakewood Presbyterian Church. Paula brought a smile to so many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Sunday March 27 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL. The service will be at Lakewood Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM Monday, March 28, 2011 with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery.
