

Paulette was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 5th, 1946, to parents Paul and Jackie Casteel. She was one of four children and is predeceased by her brother James and her sister Betty Jo.
She and her loving husband, John, met in 1967 at Reynolds, Smith & Hills while Paulette was working as a Highway Drafter and Designer and John was in the onset of his career as an Electrical Engineer. They were married for 54 years and enjoyed traveling together, attending Florida Gator games, and working on all types of home projects over the course of the years.
One of Paulette’s most notable contributions was her leadership role in The Delray Affair for 17 years. She helped grow the Delray Beach signature event into a nationally recognized arts and crafts show. Her passion and contributions to the annual event were truly admirable.
In addition to her husband John, Paulette is survived by her stepdaughter Blair (Bolling) Cranford, granddaughter Darsey, nephew James (Connie) Casteel and niece Kim Casteel.
Paulette (“Mimi”) will be deeply missed by her loved ones. She left a loving impression on those who knew her and truly would do anything to help others.
A graveside service for Paulette will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207.
