

She was the daughter of James Alonzo Credle and Estelle Winn Credle, born on the family farm in Patterson, GA, March 5, 1932. She was a long time resident of Jacksonville, graduating from Landon High School in 1949 and continuing on to the University of Florida at Gainesville.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John BW Malkewitz , 2 daughters, Abbie Malkewitz ( Chris), Maria Estelle Riebe (John) , 2 Grandsons, Corey Riebe (Keri) & Joshua Riebe (Malori) , 3 Great Grandchildren, Natalee, Quincee and Reese. Her sister Royce Hamilton, and nephews Jimmie Hamilton (Bridgett), Tim Hamilton, Dennis Hamilton, Jr. (Scott) , great nieces and nephews, Chad, Carson, Jordan and Hadleigh Hamilton and numerous extended family.
She was stylish, creative, generous and talented beyond words. She was sharp, witty and the original American Picker. She devoted her life to her family and friends, and when her daughters went away to college became the Peggy “Ma” Malkewitz at Whitehawk Pictures, where she became known as the “food-stylist, senior purchaser, receptionist, seamstress, shipping clerk, personal advisor, plastic utensil conservationist, actress, physician, maid services, thesaurus-dictionary-historian, prop-stylist, estate sale inspector, chief cook & bottle washer, easter bunny-santa claus, -cupid, narrator, nutristionist, embroiderer-extraordinaire, mother confessor, floral designer, glue gun lady, morale booster, counselor and friend” to the numerous employees and clients.
She was awarded the 1999 YWCA Celebration of Women in Leadership in honor of her great style of servant-heart leadership to everyone she met.
