She is survived by three of her four sons, Ross Scattergood Anderson, Samuel Scattergood Anderson and Daniel Franklin Anderson and their multiple children. A fourth son, Thomas William Anderson, died July 2002 in a car accident.
Pollyann was born in Philadelphia, PA, but was raised in Jacksonville. She attended Ortega Elementary School and Lee High School, then attended Mary Baldwin, Staunton, VA. She worked at the Jacksonville NAS where she met and later married William R. Anderson a naval fighter pilot stationed at the Jacksonville NAS just after WW II.
Pollyann was loved by all who knew her. She was a strong Christian woman whose impact on her family has had and will continue to have strong, lasting effects. In her youth she loved to play bridge and tennis. She was an award-winning realtor in both Denver and Houston.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 27 at Green Lawn Funeral Home, Beach Blvd., Jacksonville.
