Grandpop, there are so many memories that were wonderful with you.  Holidays and summers at your beautiful property in St. Augustine with all of the family & your birthday every year kept all of us close as a family.  Especially the birthday a couple of years ago when we watched slides at your house and reminisced on times passed.  But a few of the memories that I cherish the most are the summers I spent with you as a teenager.  After mom died, up until graduation, you had me bring one best friend to your house in St. Augustine for a week every summer. That week spent with you, Grandmom & Great Grandmom were ones I will always treasure. You'd take us for a day in downtown St. Augustine, take us to the fort, out to dinner & then a nightly swim at your pool.  You were always so welcoming to my friends and decades later would still ask how they were doing.  It always warmed my heart how you remembered them even if it was 20 years down the road.  Thank you for being the best grandpop ever.  I will always cherish every moment with you; every birthday, every holiday, every visit & every summer.  I love you & miss you so much! ❤  Until I see those pretty blue eyes again...
Love Always,
Melissa
