

Raymond L. England, age 94, passed away on August 10, 2015 in Palmetto, Florida. He was born in McFall , MO on May 20, 1921 to James and Edna Mae Ferguson England. Mr. England has been a resident of Jacksonville most of his life.
Prior to retirement he was an Auto Mechanic for the City of Jacksonville for more than 25 years.
Raymond had served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
He was a member of the University Boulevard Nazarene Church, Jacksonville, FL.
He was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Opal England and a granddaughter, Arwen Sullivan.
He is survived by two sons, David England (Nancy) of Charleston, SC and Duane England of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by a daughter Karen Sullivan (Bob) of Palmetto, FL., one brother Merle England (Iona) of Cameron, MO, two sisters, Virginai King (Dean) of Gallatin, MO and Bessie Hall (Chuck) of Wichita, KS, Three grandchildren Ryan Sullivan, David and Brian England and three great-grandchildren Zoe, Kendall and Preston.
A visitation will be on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the St. Nicholas room with Pastor Larry D. Morgan officiating at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Those who wish may make donations to the Tidewell Hospice.
