Raymond E. Higginbotham went to be with the Lord September 28, 2016. Raymond was 100 years and 6 months young. He was preceded in death by his wife Selma; son, Raymond W.; brothers, Richard Champ, Charles, Wm. Herman; and sister, Catherine Wheat. Raymond leaves behind his son, Robert W.; daughter, Kim Bannister, (Dennis); grandson, Aaron Bannister (Samantha); and great granddaughter, Ashlynn. A memorial service will be held at Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211 on October 3, 2016 at 11:00am with a visitation 1 hour prior at 10:00am. Arrangements are being made by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32211. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arlington Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
