Regina Monica Wozniak

Regina M. Wasko Wozniak, born June 11, 1927, formerly from DuPont, PA, moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1995, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2016 at Cross Care center. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wozniak, her brother, Andrew Wasko of Johnson City, NY, and her sister, Julie Duzen of DuPont, PA. She was the daughter of the late Julia and Andrew Wasko. She is survived by two children, Donald Wozniak (Marian) of DuPont, PA and Andrea Bekanich (John), 2 grandsons (Joel & Jake) of Jacksonville, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Regina graduated from DuPont High School, Scranton Business College, and Empire Beauty College. She was a hairdresser for 35+ years in Pennsylvania, and was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Church, the Christian Women’s Association, a 50 year member of the VFW Aux. 4909, and belonged to the DuPont Alumni Association.

After moving to Jacksonville in 1995, she was a member of the American Legion Post Aux. Unity 0137. She was a volunteer at All Saints Nursing Home for 10 years, and loved to go to Bingo with her dear friend Irene Lyle.

Regina was a caring and giving lady, always smiling, and will be greatly missed.

Regina will be cremated in Jacksonville, FL and buried in Pennsylvania next to her beloved husband. There will be no calling hours.
