Today makes one year you have been gone poppy and I still miss you like crazy. I know you and nana are happy being together.  I love you poppy and thank you for all the wonderful memories you left me with.

I think of you often, miss you so much. At times it doesn't seem real. Look forward to the day I can see you again.

I was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and had to retire in December. I just learned of your dad's death. I was so very fond of your him! He couldn't speak when I knew him, but he could certainly communicate. He had a lovely spirit and the most positive attitude -which must have been a decision he made. He was loving and had such strength, character and integrity during the difficult time that I knew him. What an inspiration, a gift and a blessing he was to me and surely to everyone who knew him.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I know how devastating this is for you.  I will keep you all in my thoughts.

My prayers and thoughts are with such a wonderful and loving family.  I know how close you were and can only imagine what you must be going through.  I'll remember the story Denise tells about the painting and how the family draws names of who gets the honor of hanging that glorious framed painting throughout the year.

We're saying our goodbye's today to a real good guy. Who had it rough for a while but always made the most of what he had. Thanks for the lessons taught we're all better off from them. I'm sure you and Mom are finally together holding hands and looking over us, smiling at some of our accomplishments and scratching your heads at others. We all turned out pretty good and you guys should be proud. Go Sox!!

So sorry for your loss.  Your Dad was one of the most influential persons in my life.  When I was nine years old he bought me my first baseball glove (which I kept my entire life).  How excited I was to receive it and at that time it was very expensive (15.00). That was a lot of money to me!  He then proceeded to teach me how to play baseball.  Another memorable event happened when I was 12 years old.  I spent the summer with your Mom and Dad in San Antonio, Texas.  When your Dad got out of the Air Force and returned to Waltham.  We often played baseball or went to the YMCA to play handball or some other activity.  I would not be the person I am today without your Dads influence.
