Richard was born to Miranda (Burroughs) Jackman and Richard Jackman. He moved to Saint Johns, FL, when he was six years old.
Richard loved life and the people in his life. He went out of his way to greet everyone with a hearty smile from his beautiful soul. He loved cars, the outdoors, and the beach.
Richard attended elementary school at Turning Point Christian Academy and middle school at Pacetti Bay Middle School. He would go on to attend and graduate from Bartram Trail High School in the Class of 2021.
Richard was currently attending Jones Technical Institute (J-Tech) in the Diesel Technology program. He was also a beloved team member of the Bozard Ford family. He thoroughly enjoyed working on cars, his motorcycle and had recently started his own ceramic coating and car wrap business.
Richard is deeply loved, treasured, and missed by every person that had the gift and honor of knowing him and being his friend. It has been said multiple times that he had a smile for everyone and truly embodied and lived up to the spirit of his favorite expression, "Own the Day". Richard had a heart for service and people. His faith and love for others will be one of his most defining and most enduring characteristics.
His mother adored their times spent chatting, visiting with his friends, working side by side, and both his incredible smile and heart. His father lovingly remembers their time spent working on cars, junkyard adventures, hiking, and being together in the outdoors.
