

Richard L. Johnson (Pee Wee), 78, of Jacksonville, passed away on August 22, 2011 at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring Hospice. Richard was born on August 13, 1933 in Jacksonville to the late Grady L. and Susie (Arnold) Johnson. He was a Stone Mason, and a member of the Brick Layers Local #2, retiring after 45 years. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Ann Johnson. Additional survivors include his 2 sons, Michael (Sandy), and Neil (Christie); his daughter, Pamela (Kelly); his 2 brothers, John W. Johnson (Geri), and Charles Johnson (Nancy); his sister, Betty Altman (Buddy); his 4 grandchildren, Mandy (Matt), Tonya (Brock), Katie, and Sarah; and his 2 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Waylon. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 25th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 26th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL, 32207. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Richard to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL.
