Back in March of 2012 Rob brought two of his classic cars to the Concorso Atlantico Car Show held in Amelia Island, Florida. The Italia and his Ferrari Maranello 550 were his after trading his ultra classic DB5 Aston Martin of James Bond Fame. A great spirit he played with passion for our Jacksonville Rugby Club. As we approach our 50th anniversary in 2022 we remember our friend, our team mate, Rob.

I am one of Robbie's cousins (on his mother's side) and haven't seen him since we were kids and he was going into the Merchant Marines. I was unaware that he had passed away. Does anyone know how he died, or if he had a family? I would love to know more about him.

I was Rob's roommate at Kings Point plebe year.  We lost track of each other after graduation, I was very sorry to hear that he had passed away.  I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

We just discovered that we have lost Rob without even realizing it...We couldn't reach him and went by to see the house for sale.  If family sees this, please know that we enjoyed Rob, considered him a friend and wish we had stayed in closer touch.  We were used to him going out to sea from time to time...but we see he has sailed for the final time. RIP Rob...you will be missed and you did leave a mark.  Gail and Dyaarl Anderson

I sailed with Rob on the Showboat Marci Grad in 1996-1997.  He was a great guy, and I'm very sorry to hear of his loss.

I knew Rob through his connections with the Jacksonville Rugby Club.  He was an interesting guy and always had great stories about his cars which were rare and exotic.  I lost touch when I moved out of state in 2002.  RIP Rob.
