Robert Stewart Bowen Jr., born December 18, 1924, passed away July 4, 2014. Mr. Bowen served in the U.S Navy and was retired for 38 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Gloria of 42 years, 5 children and a number of Grand and Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for Visitation on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and the Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11:00am. All services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at The Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL 32218
