Robert K Fankhauser

FANKHAUSER– Beloved son, father and brother Robert Kingsley Fankhauser, III, 45, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014. Robert was born in Morgantown, West Virginia. He attended elementary school in Atlanta, Georgia and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and then graduated from Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, Florida in 1985. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Finance degree from Florida State University in 1990. At the time of his death, Robert was an acquisition partner with CKE Investment Properties. Robert is survived by his father, Robert K. Fankhauser, Jr.; his mother, Virginia E. Black; his step-father, Rev. James R. Black; his brother, James Eric Fankhauser; his half sister, Lauren (Stephen)Fauss; and his children, Robert Kingsley Fankhauser, IV, Alex Tanner Fankhauser and Victoria Grace Fankhauser, all of Jacksonville. Robert was a devoted member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church serving each Sunday as the drummer in St. Matthews Worship Band. Robert’s quick wit, fun loving spirit and love for others will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 6901 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32277 at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 12. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Matthews Lutheran Church Music Program.
