My fishing buddy for over 30 years! And best of friends! He will be with me when I am fishing and any adventures that I have in the futureThe world is truly a lesser place without him And he will be missed and never forgotten!

Robby and I first met when he was 19. He was my brother's best friend. My brother passed away 2 1/2 years later. It was during the years that followed that Robby and I bonded over our mutual grief. He was such a source of comfort at such a crucial time in my life, despite his own pain and grief. Robby was such a selfless person, always "going the extra mile" for those he loved and cared about. I am so very grateful for having ever met him and the friendship we shared over the years. He meant the world to me and will forever remain in my heart. Love and miss you, Robert Michael O'Steen! ❤

Robert was a great friend and mentor to myself and many others. Many long nights and work efforts spent together. Many Sunday together at Jaguars games. Always a positive attitude, when I knew it was hard to be positive. We miss you buddy and think about Terri and family often.

Robert was a great guy who was married to my cousin Terry. We had a lot in common. We were both tradesmen and love to fish. We got to enjoy a couple of fishing trips together and had more planned . He fought cancer the way he fought a big fish. He would never give up. I got to witness that on our last trip together a few years ago when the mate had to hold him from going over board when he was fighting a big amberjack. He would not give up and won that fight. I was impressed. I know he had many friends and family that loved him and is missed very much. Love you brother.

Robert came into my life when I was 7... alittle over 20 years ago when he met my mother. Not only was Robert a father figure to me, he was also a friend. A friend that taught me so many things throughout life and also bribed me with ice cream ALOT. Even though I was fortunate enough to spend 20 years with him being my step dad, it still doesn’t seem like long enough.. although I know he was ready to go, I wasn’t ready for him to leave. Love and miss you Robbie.
