Hugh served with my husband at Jax Heights Baptist and he and Tammy are some of our best friends. I will always remember the wonderful times he invited us to the symphony and the box seats. Talking on the way home, the details that only a professional musician would have noticed. Our Sunday lunch every Sunday with our widows and just our Saturday drives to check out future camp sites he and Tammy were planning. We talked about everything and knew we could trust each other for privacy. We miss you terribly, my friend.

I was so heartbroken to hear of Hugh’s passing. I just knew he would pull through this. He has been a part of my life since we were both really small growing up on Naranja Dr. W. In more recent years we shared a love-hate relationship for college football. I never thought it was possible for someone to love a team more than I loved Alabama, but Hugh‘s love for Clemson was second only to his love for his family. The world is a little dimmer now that heaven gained another angel, but we are all brighter having known him. I pray God's peace and comfort for you all especially in the days and months to come. May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Love from Sadie and the Blanton family

I worked with Hugh at Homeside Lending and Black Knight Financial Services. He was always a very kind and friendly person. I'm sending up prayers to his wife and sons. I know that you will miss him beyond degree. But, we know that he's in a better place.

I worked with Hugh at HomeSide Lending when he coached me to be a new trainer! He was a peer who became a good friend! Never a doubt about how much Hugh loved his wife, his boys, his music or his Clemson! I he will be missed by many and my sincere condolences go to his family!
