Sammons, Mr. Robert (Rusty) Sammons of Jacksonville, FL. died peacefully at the age of 77 on July 11, 2007. Mr. Sammons was predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth after many wonderful years of marriage, and his daughter Betty Jane Smiley. He is survived by his brother Kenneth (Jessie) Sammons, two daughters Della Sammons (Michael) Foss, Ann (Frank) Campbell, Son Richard (Peggy) Lanier, son in law John Smiley, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave. with Rev. F. Ray Turner officiating.
