Robert C. Slade

Bob was self employed and owned and operated Slade Sign Company for over 40 years. An avid gardener, he spent many hours manicuring his yard. It was the envy of the neighborhood. He loved the water and spent many a day boating and jet skiing.

Surviving are his loving wife, Wynell, two daughters, Stacy (Jonathan) Scott, Shannon Conner, three grandchildren, Conner and Caelan Scott and Holden Conner, brother, Jim (Marcia) Slade, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

A Celebration of His Life will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 6133 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.

Memorials in his name may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
