Robert Alexander Smithdeal

2, 2023. Born November 28, 1950, he was 72 at the time of his death.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Gauger Smithdeal, Jr., mother Joyce

Denson Shelley, stepfather James Edward Shelley, stepsister Joan Shelley Sipka and

stepbrother Brian Shelley.

Robert is survived by his two children, Melissa Christine Smithdeal, Casey Thomas Smithdeal

and his former spouse, Lynn Vedaa Smithdeal. He is also survived by his brother Thomas G.

Smithdeal. III, and wife Barbara, brother Douglas Smithdeal, his wife Tess and daughter Joyce,

stepsister Patricia Rauh, her husband Dean and their two children Jen and Matthew, and

stepsister Elizabeth Shelley and son Michael.

Robert, although our loss is deep and our hearts are breaking, your footsteps can never be filled

nor your love forgotten. Through the power of love, the grace of friendship, and the gift of

memories, you will live on in our hearts forever.
