Robert Drew Turbyfill

Robert Drew Turbyfill, age 61, passed away suddenly on April 15, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 18, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated from Ribault Senior High School in 1968 and Jacksonville University in 1972. He made his career in the motion picture industry before moving to the residential pool construction business. Robert loved the Florida Gators and was an avid golfer. Robert is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joanie Carol Turbyfill; his parents, Robert Earl and Beverly R. Turbyfill; his daughters, Jennifer Ann Turbyfill and her husband, Anish Tuladhar, and Ashley Drew Turbyfill and her husband, Matt Marti; son, Scott William Warner and his wife, T.J.; his grandchildren, Matthew Drew Marti, Augie Warner and Bella Rose Tate; his sisters, Rebecca Taus and her husband, David, and Donna Frank and her husband, Roger; his nieces, Kathleen, Megan and Sofia; and his nephew, Patrick. Memorial services for Robert will be held at 2 PM on Friday April 20, 2012 at St. Barnabus Anglican Church, 3754 University Club Blvd. 32277 with Rev. John Eason officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jacksonville Humane Society, 8328 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
