I am an RN in home health care. I happened to take time off in-between jobs from March until June. I realized my good friend Bob was not outside recently. He was always: quick of wit, full of kind words and consideration for others and had a big smile for me saying" where have you been, I have missed you"! He never failed to brighten my day! I will miss your Dad... He was a good man..... My condolences to your entire family.

I just learned today of Bob's passing.  He was always so kind to my little boy (Ricky age 4) whenever we would come by to see my mother, also a resident at Elmcroft.  He always had a shuttle sticker or something funny to tell Ricky and always gave him "high fives".  I had to tell Ricky that Mr. Bob was now in Heaven with Jesus and his grandpa.  He said that he would miss giving him "high fives".  We will all miss him.  Cincos Mr. Bob from Ricky!

It is with great sadness that I learned just today of Bob's passing.  My mother was his friend at Elmcroft and I so enjoyed talking to him whenever we visited her there.  He was always so kind and humorous and fun to be around.  He was so proud of his grandson, the astronaut and of his own service to our country. Dear Family,  My Mother lives at Elmcroft.  I met Bob when my Mother first moved there 2 1/2 years ago.  Because my deceased father was a WWII veteran too, Bob told me that the vets always looked out for each other and he would make sure that my Mother was o.k.  I LOVED his spirit, his jokes, his kindness and the friendship he so freely gave to us.  It will even take me ( a stranger to your family ) a while to stop missing Bob.  With deep sorrow.....

I have many fond memories of Bob that I will forever hold dear in my heart. I loved him very much. I loved his spirit, energy, cheerful attitude, willingness to help and listen. He had a generous heart, sweet smile and love for people. I admired and respect.a man that sticks by his wife through â€better or worseâ€ â€ in sickness and healthâ€ Bob was an example of those words. He was my wing man, my right hand man, my best dance partner and my friend. It was a blessing to have shared a part of my life with Bob. In my heart always...Bob is where you'll stay.

The measure of a father is judged by the family he leaves behind.  Your Dad was the best.  You have our heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father.  Mr. Virts was special to all of us.  My fondest memories were of his train garden (which he allowed my children to share with him) and of the flea markets he attended and always enjoyed.  I will always remember the special place he had in his heart for his grandchildren.  He was so proud of them and loved to brag about them as he should have.  God bless you and your family.
