Roger was a very interesting person. I wish that we had more information about his background.
We met Roger in his apartment at Westminister Woods on Julington Creek about a year ago and he was a very quiet but respectful person who seemed to be lonely, but he had his dog, Chloe, who he took for walks around his apartment area.  We engaged him and brought him to some of the community entertainment.  That's all it took.  From then on, he was seen racing  around the community on his trike. We're sorry that he had a short term dwelling in the community, and we wish we had gotten to know him better.  May he rest in peace.

Dear Barbara:
Please accept our deepest condolences in the recent passing of Roger Bowden.  He was a resident on our campus and he is greatly missed by fellow residents and staff.  He was definitely a bright spot and we are better as a community for having known him (and Chloe!)  May memories of he and his wife bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Roger and Barbara were my neighbors for 20 years, Despite the age difference Roger and I shared a love for yard work. He had all the tools and would always let me borrow them  and teach me how to use them. He had his funny ways and could be very stubborn but through it all he was my friend and he will be missed. When I think of him a smile always comes to my face. RIP my friend!
