Ronald Navarro Jones

Ronald Navarro Jones, 84, of Jacksonville, died Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born July 1, 1929, to the late John Wesley and Ava L. Jones. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the US Army where he served as a medic. He also worked for Southern Bell for 32 years. He was an active member of the new Journey Church.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, June Jones, daughters, Alice Back and Pamela (Bobby) Back, a son Harold (Virginia) Jones all of Jacksonville, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, from 6 – 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207. Services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at New Journey Church, 2214 University Blvd., South, Jacksonville, FL.
