LEWISRose Marie Lewis, 92, passed away on Sunday July 6, 2014. She was born in Calabria, Italy on January 30, 1922 to Paul Alessio and Teresa Filipponi Alessio. Mrs. Lewis has lived in Jacksonville since 1991. She retired from the RCA Company as a Production Specialist and was also retired from San Jose Catholic Day Care. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. Rose Marie loved to cook for family and friends and she greatly enjoyed taking care of children. Her kindness and love will be truly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Homer Lewis, her parents, her step-mother, Maria Alessio. and 3 brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Lewis; her son, Daniel Lewis (Lisa); 9 sisters, 2 brothers and 5 grandchildren, Dolan, Eliza and Julian Lewis, and Shelly and Daina Edens. Funeral Mass is at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at San Jose Catholic Church.
