Russell L. Reese,

REESERussell L Reese Jr., age 60, passed away on June 13, 2013 following a hard-fought battle with lung cancer.Russell was a veteran of the US Army and a machinist by trade. He enjoyed any job allowing him to fix things and work with his hands.Russell is survived by his parents, Russell Sr and Rebecca Reese, his daughter, Natalie Reese and son, Russell Reese III (wife Melissa and beloved granddaughter Madison). Russell’s sisters are Brenda (Joe) Adeeb, Debbie Saramak, Cheryl (Chuck) Bell and Charlene (Carl) Strickland. He also has six nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the VA Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Attn: Chief of Voluntary Services, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608. His family will receive friends Thursday, June 20 from 6-8pm at Beach Diner (11362 San Jose Blvd 32223) for a celebration of his life. Memorial services will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church (2961 University Boulevard North 32277) on Friday, June 21 at 11am.In memory of his kind spirit, please be sweet to the ones you love.
