Ruth Elizabeth Noonan Carswell,107 years, passed away on September 13, 2024. Born on July 27, 1917 in Savannah, GA. Ruth lived a long and faith-filled life, dedicated to her family and the Baptist church.
Ruth was a true matriarch and is survived by an extensive extended family. Her legacy continues through her Daughter: Cindy Elizabeth Noonan; Granddaughter: Andrea Williams; Great-Grandchildren: Anna Leland, Andre Robinson, Cole McKinney, and Savannah McKinney; and Great-Great-Grandchildren: Brielle Leland, Audrey Leland, and Greyson Leland. She was preceded in death by her Sisters: Mary, Dorothy, Ernestine, Kathy, her husbands: Barney W. Noonan (widowed) and Samuel T. Carswell; her Son: Tommy Noonan; and Granddaughters: Brandi Landry and Kristen McKenney. She is surrounded by a multitude of friends and family who have welcomed her to Heaven.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Aspire Church (formally Southside Baptist), 1435 Atlantic Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207. The service will commence at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
